Forest Inventory Case Studies

14 November 2012

This document is a combination of presentations from the LEAF-USFS Synthesis Workshop on Options for Monitoring Forest Degradation at Sub-National Levels in the Mekong, held from 13-14 November 2012 in Bangkok.  The presentations from this particular session focus on opportunities and challenges to monitor forest degradation through stock-difference and/or gain-loss approaches.  These case studies were presented by Nophea Sasaki of the University of Hyogo, Michael Poulsen of NORDECO, and Sandra Brown of Winrock International.
