Integrating Remote Sensing and field data; Statistical context for forest monitoring

14 November 2012

This document is a combination of presentations from the LEAF-USFS Synthesis Workshop on Options for Monitoring Forest Degradation at Sub-National Levels in the Mekong, held from 13-14 November 2012 in Bangkok.  The presentations from this particular session focus on emerging best practices in developing models to measure degradation, and monitoring methods and their expected statistical certainties.  These case studies were presented by Bill Salas of Applied Geosolutions, Belinda Arunarwati of UMD, and by Chip Scott of the USFS.
