Remote Sensing Case Studies

14 November 2012

This document is a combination of presentations from the LEAF-USFS Synthesis Workshop on Options for Monitoring Forest Degradation at Sub-National Levels in the Mekong, held from 13-14 November 2012 in Bangkok.  The presentations from this particular session examine remote sensing technologies and methodologies to detect and monitor degradation within "Forest Remaining Forest."  Doug Muchoney of the USGS, Ken MacDicken of the FAO, and Jeffrey Himel of Aruna gave these presentations.
