As the primary gateway to the forestry profession, the forestry and natural resource management universities in LEAF countries are well positioned to help their students and faculty understand and address gender issues they are certain to encounter in newly emerging subjects like climate change mitigation, REDD+ and PES. LEAF provides technical support to key universities in the region to prepare modules on REDD+ and PES that also contain gender-specific contents.
